Kochen mit Donna Hay / Cooking with Donna Hay

Während meines Wochenendes in Melbourne hat meine Cousine ein Gericht nach einem Rezept aus dem Magazin von Donna Hay nachgekocht. Ich habe beim Kochen fleißig geholfen Bei der Gelegenheit habe ich das Magazin durchgeblättert und war sofort fasziniert: von der Einfachheit der Rezepte, der schönen Gestaltung, den tollen Fotos und den dazugehörigen Rezepten und Artikel. Sehr gelungen.

Einmal derartig infiziert, habe ich in Sydney sofort die aktuelle Ausgabe Nr. 55 gekauft (Februar/März 2011) und als ich kurze Zeit später im Buchladen über ein Sonderangebot des Kochbuchs "fast, fresh, simple" gestolpert bin, konnte ich kaum noch nein sagen (das Gewicht meines Koffers stieg um ein Vielfaches). Das Buch enthält unzählige Rezepte von Salaten, Pastas, Fischgerichten und Desserts und ist ein Fest für die Augen.

Bis heute hatte ich noch keine Gelegenheit, eines der zahlreichen Rezepte auszuprobieren, aber das nächste Wochenende schreit förmlich danach.

During my weekend in Melbourne my cousin had cooked a meal according to a recipe from one of the Donna Hay magazines. I made myself very useful I seized the opportunity to browse through the magazine and was immediately fascinated by the simplicity of the recipes, the beautiful layout, good photos and the corresponding recipes and articles. Perfect job.

Once bitten by this bug I bought the latest magazine issue no. 55 (February/March 2011) in Sydney and shortly after that I stumbled accross a special offer of the cookbook "fast, fresh, simple". Needless to say I bought it on the spot (and my suitcase increased its weight). The book contains countless recipes of salads, pastas, fish meals and desserts and is a feast for the eyes.

I've not yet had the time to try one of the recipes but will do so during the forthcoming weekend.
