Strickjacke für das Baby / Cardigan for the Baby

Heute war ein Tag ganz nach meinem Geschmack: keine Termine, viel Zeit und Ruhe. Neben dem Stricken habe ich mich etwas dem Gästezimmer gewidmet, sprich einem Haufen von Büchern und Papieren auf dem Sideboard. Es waren noch die größeren Reste unserer Baustelle während der Badrenovierungen. Noch ist nicht alles weg, aber ich arbeite daran.

Die kleine Strickjacke für N. ist heute fertig geworden, übrig sind noch kleinere Näharbeiten und natürlich Knöpfe. Die mußte ich extra bestellen, denn zu so einem Strickjäckchen für das Baby passen normale große Knöpfe natürlich nicht.

Today was entirely to my taste: no dates, a lot of time and peace. I spent the day knitting and cleaning in our guest room, namely the big heap of books and papers on the sideboard. These were the big leftovers from the construction site during our bathroom renovations. There are some minor things left but I'm working on it.

I finished knitting the little cardigan for N. today, some finishing touches have to be made and of course the buttons. I had to order some because normal big buttons are not suitable for such a tiny baby cardigan.

Ha! ... Woche 22 / Week 22

Ja, ihr habt doch bestimmt alle gedacht, dass ich nie mehr zu meiner Aufräumaktion zurückkehre, oder?

Falsch meine Lieben. Wir sind zwar noch immer von Trocknergeräten und löchrigen Fliesen umgeben (bis morgen, so wurde uns glaubhaft versichert) und daher arg eingeschränkt, weil wir in allen Zimmern irgendwelche Fliesen und Badezimmer-Sachen haben, aber ich habe heute Teil I und II der Aktion "Kleiderschrank" geschafft.

Ich will hier nicht preisgeben, wieviele Hosen und Röcke ich aussortiert habe, es waren einige (zu viele). Und Pullis und T-Shirts. Und Socken.

Nächste Woche geht es an die Sport- und sonstige Wäsche.

Well, you've probably all thought that I would never come back to my clearing-up efforts, haven't you?

Wrong, my dears. Although we still live amongst the dryers and tiles with holes and are therefore badly limited (until tomorrow, we were assured), as we have spread all the bathroom belongings and some tiles all over the flat, I have managed to accomplish part I and II of the "wardrobe" campaign.

I won't tell you how many trousers and skirts I have sorted out, they were many (too many). And pullovers and t-shirts. And socks.

Next week it's time for the sports gear and others.

Der ist so süß / He is so cute

Zum Süßen kommen wir gleich. Erst die Arbeit, dann das Vergnügen. Die Kalenderwoche 3 endet gleich und es war ein wenig eng mit meiner Wochenaufgabe. Es galt, den Inhalt dieser Schublade auszumisten:

We'll come back to the cute one later. Business before pleasure. The calendar week 3 is going to end soon and it was getting tight with my weekly task. Namely, to muck out this drawer:

Eile war geboten, denn der BVB sollte spielen und ich hatte nicht mehr viel Zeit. Als habe ich den ganzen Inhalt auf den Boden geworfen, in zwei Haufen sortiert und die Sachen, die ich behalten möchte, wieder ordentlich reingelegt. Bleibt festzustellen, dass sich hier Schriftstücke aus dem Jahr 2004 fanden, die hier nichts zu suchen hatten.

Speed was required because the BVB was about to play and I didn't have much time. I threw the whole content on the floor, sorted it in two piles and put the stuff back that I wanted to keep. Note that I found some documents from the year 2004 which were in the wrong place.

Für die nächste Wochenaufgabe habe ich mir gleich zwei Wochen Zeit genommen, so furchtbar ist sie. Darüber bald mehr.

Heute ist mir aufgefallen, dass dieser Blog an akutem Bildermangel leidet: an denen meines Enkels. Bitte sehr:
