So schmeckt Sommer / That's how summer tastes

Eigentlich habe ich keine Zeit, aber in Erinnerung an die köstliche Erdbeermarmelade des letzten Jahres (das letzte Glas haben wir glaube ich im Januar oder Februar geleert) habe ich seit Sonntag doch noch diverse Gläser mit Erdbeermarmelade gefüllt und heute als Bonus noch mal eben schnell die Törtchen dazu gemacht.

Der Erdbeerverkäufer am Feld meinte, dass der Verkauf (bzw. das Pflücken) nur noch bis Ende dieser Woche läuft, mal sehen, ob ich die ca. 10 leeren Gläser noch voll bekomme.

Zum Stricken komme ich abends gar nicht mehr (oder es ist zu heiß), im Urlaub habe ich aber noch schnell die Socken für meinen Mann zu Ende gestrickt. Aus dieser Restwolle entsteht im Moment ein Paar Babysöckchen, damit unserem Enkel die Wahl des Ballspielvereins leichter fällt (nicht dass es da viel zu entscheiden gäbe).

Although I don't have much time at the moment, I had to start making strawberry jam on Sunday and these tartlets as an additional bonus today. Mainly because I remembered how much we liked our last year's strawberry jam (I think we have emptied the last glass in January or February).

The strawberry salesman at the field said that they would stop selling strawberries at the end of this week and I wonder if I'll manage to fill the remaining 10 empty glasses.

I don't have time for knitting at all (and it's too warm) but I did finish these socks for my man in our holidays. The remaining wool from this project is being used for a tiny pair of baby socks so that our grandchild can choose his favourite football club more easily (it's not that there are too many choices).
