Dieses Jahr nicht / Not this year

Dieses Jahr fahre ich im Herbst nicht nach Šternberk.

Die Herbstferien fangen erst Ende Oktober an und ich fliege zeitgleich zu einer Messe nach Peking.

Meine Cousine Nora hat vorletzte Woche ihr zweites Kind, einen Jungen, bekommen und ich weiß nicht, wann ich ihn kennenlernen darf.

1000 km fühlen sich manchmal so lang an, zum Glück verkürzt durch das Internet und Skype.

I am not going to Šternberk this year.

The autumn school holidays are at the end of October and I am travelling to an exhibition in Beijing at the same time.
