Leb gesund ! / Live healthy !

Das scheint das Motto des Australiers zu sein, der in den Randgebieten von Sydney und noch dazu in der Nähe des Strandes und Wassers wohnt.

Ich selbst habe in der ersten Nacht nur etwas über 2 Stunden geschlafen und hatte ab ca. 4.30 Uhr morgens Zeit genug, die ersten Spaziergänger, Jogger und Radfahrer zu beobachten. Mit weit geöffneter Balkontür, einer Tasse Tee in der Hand und im 7. Stock eines Hotels, dessen Aussicht direkt auf das Meer und den Strand hinausgeht, hatte ich beste Aussichten.

Die ersten Gruppen von 20 - 40 Radfahrern erschienen auf der Bildfläche, ältere Paare im sportlichen Outfit, Jogger und nicht zuletzt die ersten Surfer.

Kurz nach 6 Uhr war der Strand fest in sportlicher Hand.

(Ich habe zu Hause oft genug überlegt, ob ich das schaffen könnte, morgens um 5 Uhr aufzustehen, eine Stunde Sport zu machen, um danach herrlich entspannt und energiegeladen ins Büro zu fahren - die Antwort lautet: auf gar keinen Fall. Könnte ich das hier, am Strand, in dieser Umgebung - na ja, träumen wird man ja noch dürfen ...)

This seems to be the motto of an Australian who lives in the suburbs of Sydney and additionally near the beach and the sea.

I did not get more than approx. 2 hours sleep during the first night and as of 4.30 am that morning, I had a great amount of time to watch to first people going for a walk, joggers and bikers, with my balcony door wide open, a mug of tea in my hand and in the 7th floor of a hotel with a great view on the sea and the beach.

There were the first groups of 20 - 40 bikers showing up, elderly couples in sporty outfits, joggers and last but not least the first surfers.

The beach was crowded with sports people shortly after 6 am.

At home, I've always considered the possibility of getting up at 5 am and doing some sports for one hour and then going to work all relaxed and full of energy - who am I kidding, no way. Now if I'd live in this environment, at the beach, then who knows - but that's only a dream ...)
