Vapiano

Seitdem das Vapiano auch in Dortmund eröffnet hat, gehen wir ab und zu mal nach der Arbeit dort essen, wenn wir etwas in der Stadt zu erledigen haben. Das Konzept ist denkbar einfach: an die entsprechende Theke gehen - Antipasti, Pasta, Pizza - bestellen und zusehen, wie das Essen frisch zubereitet wird.

Es gibt schönere und nicht so gemützliche Sitzgelegenheiten, man muß etwas Glück haben und auf ein halbwegs leeres Lokal hoffen. Am schönsten finde ich den ruhigen Bereich in der Nähe von der Bar mit seinen roten Sesseln.

Heute haben wir uns auf Wunsch der "Thermomix" Frauen im Vapiano verabredet und dort einen netten Nachmittag verbracht. Für die Damen aus Paderborn und Schermbeck war das eine Premiere und sie fanden ihr Essen (Pizza) sehr gut.

We have been frequent visitors of the Vapiano ever since it has been opened in Dortmund and like to eat there whenever we have to run some errands in town. The food chain's concept is easy: go to the corresponding counter - antipasti, pasta, pizza - order your meal and watch while it is being prepared.


There are some nicer and not so comfortable seating areas and you'll have to go in and hope that the restaurant is half empty. I like the more quiet seating area next to the bar most, with its red seats.

Today, we have met at the Vapiano on the request of some of the "Thermomix" ladies and spent a nice afternoon there. The ladies from Paderborn and Schermbeck have been there for the first time and liked their food (pizza) a lot.
