Heute war ein guter Tag (ein Tag, an dem ich nicht geweint habe, aber mich andauernd mit Dany unterhalten habe) und ich war erleichtert zu sehen, dass mein Vater besser aussieht als letzte Woche und dass sich meine Eltern auf ihren Urlaub freuen.

Das habe ich an meinen Eltern immer geschätzt: ihren Pragmatismus und ihren Optimismus.

Today was a good day (a day without tears but lots of conversations with Dany) and I was relieved to see that my dad looked much better than last week and that my parents look forward to their holidays.
