Viel viel Glück / Lots and Lots of Luck

Meine Tochter war heute als Beifahrerin in einem Autounfall verwickelt und mußte von mir später ins Krankenhaus gebracht werden. Sie hatte einen schweren Schock und starke Kopfschmerzen. Ihr Freund - der Fahrer - war zum Glück auch unverletzt, hat aber Prellungen am Fuß.

Das Auto ist zwar Totalschaden, aber beide Kinder sind heile und gesund - auch wenn meine Tochter jetzt zur Beobachtung im Krankenhaus liegt.

Die Wartezeit in der Notaufnahme war für meine Tochter der Horror: ihr war schlecht und mußte auch noch geröntgt werden (alles ok). Als wir sie im Rollstuhl zur Station fuhren, ist sie uns auf dem Weg auch noch in Ohnmacht gefallen.

Heute Abend geht es ihr schon viel besser, zum Glück.

My daughter had been involved in a car accident this morning and I had to take her to the hospital a while later. She had a severe shock and head aches. Her boyfriend - the driver - was fortunately also unharmed but has contusions on his foot.

The car is a total loss but both kiddos are unharmed and healthy, even though my daughter is being kept under observation in hospital.

The waiting in the emergency room was pure horror for my daugther: she felt sick and had to be x-rayed as well (everything is ok). On the way to the ward she even fainted in the wheel chair.

She is much better tonight, fortunately.
