Vorab: meiner Tochter geht es wesentlich besser und sie müßte morgen aus dem Krankenhaus entlassen werden. Nachdem sie heute morgen noch Kopfschmerzen hatte, hatte der Arzt entschieden, dass es besser sei, noch den Sonntag im Krankenhaus zu verbringen.

Ich habe mein Strickzeug eingepackt und es mir dort für ein paar Stunden gemütlich gemacht.

First of all: my daughter is much better now and she should be allowed to leave the hospital tomorrow. She still had some headache this morning so that the doctor decided to keep her there for yet another day.

Auf diese Zugvögel sind wir hauptsächlich durch ihren "Lärm" aufmerksam geworden, sie sammelten sich hoch über unserem Haus.

Als ich nach dem Begriff "Zugvogel" suchte fand ich folgendes (sinngemäße Übersetzung):

wenn sich jemand bewegt, ist etwas verloren und etwas anderes wird gewonnen
