Walk of Fame und das Drama mit Stuttgart / Walk of Fame and the drama with Stuttgart

Gestern haben wir einen geführten Spaziergang durch Dortmund gemacht, dem sogenannten Walk of Fame. Der Veranstalter, das Dortmunder Tourismusbüro, hat dies schon länger im Programm und gestern war es auch für uns und unsere Freunde soweit.

Die Führung startet gegenüber dem Dortmunder Hauptbahnhof und geht dann von "Stern zu Stern", dem Walk of Fame. Schon auf dem Weg zum ersten Stern haben wir interessante Fakten über Dortmund und seine Fußballgeschichte zu hören bekommen, bei den einzelnen Sternen im Zentrum der Stadt haben wir noch viel mehr Fakten über Dortmund und Borussia hören können.

Es sind insgesamt 100 Sterne auf dem Weg von der Dreifaltigkeitskirche in der Nordstadt bis zum Signal-Iduna-Park zu finden, jeder Stern einer bedeutenden Persönlichkeit des Fußballs oder einem Ereignis gewidmet. Diese Sterne hier haben wir gestern erkundet und besprochen:

Yesterday, we had a guided tour through Dortmund, the so called Walk of Fame. The organiser, the Dortmund Office for Tourism, has had this in their programme for a while now and yesterday was the time for us and our friends.

The tour begins opposite of the Dortmund main station and then continues from "star to star", the Walk of Fame. We learned some interesting facts about Dortmund and its history of football on our way to the first star already, and there was a lot more facts of Dortmund and Borussia at each of the single stars in the heart of the town.

There are 100 stars altogehter, placed between the church Dreifaltigkeit in the north of the town and the Signal-Iduna-stadium. Each star is dedicated to an important football personality or an event related to football. We visited and talked about these stars:

Dann sollte eigentlich der entspannte Teil des Tages beginnen, DH fuhr ins Stadion um live dabei zu sein und wir suchten uns die nächste Kneipe mit einer großen Leinwand. Wer das Spiel gestern gegen Stuttgart gesehen hat, weiß was wir durchgemacht haben. Es war eines der besten Spiele des Jahres und an Dramatik wahrlich nicht mehr zu überbieten.

Then the relaxing part of the day should have begun, DH went to see the match live in the stadium and we went to find a pub with a big screen. The ones who have seen the match against Stuttgart knows what we went through. It was one of the best games of this year and packed with dramatic moments.
