Gestern waren wir den ganzen Nachmittag in der Stadt: ich hatte noch Geschenke eingekauft, war bei meiner Friseurin und DH saß auf dem Marktplatz im Biergarten und wartete auf mich. Während wir dort zusammen aßen, hatten wir das Riesenrad immer im Blick und schon nach kurzer Dauer war klar, dass wir damit fahren mußten. Es war schön! (Leider hatte ich keinen Fotoapparat dabei, daher etwas magere iPhone-Qualität.)

We spent the whole afternoon in town yesterday: I had to buy some presents, went to my hairdresser and DH waited in a beergarden in the city. The big wheel was in our view all the time while we were eating and we quickly decided that we had to have a go on it. It was lovely! (Unfortunately I did not take my camera, hence some poor quality iPhone photos.)
Your iPhone shots are perfectly adequate and beautiful. It costs 18 quid per adult on the London Eye, dare I say the Dortmund's wheel is cheap in comparison. As we say 'rip off Britain'!
