Saison-Lieblinge / Season Delights

Ich liebe Spargel. Meine Tochter hasst ihn und mein Mann fügt sich. Also esse ich Spargel meistens auswärts oder ich setze mich über alles hinweg und mache ein- oder zweimal während der Saison Spargel zu Hause.

Dann allerdings schaue ich auch nicht auf den Preis und kaufe aus "deutschen Landen frisch auf den Tisch", zusammen mit einem guten Serrano- oder Parmaschinken.

Dazu gibt es auch keine Sauce Hollandaise, sondern nur Butter. Und Weißwein.

Heute kam meine Mutter zum Fußball schauen, Spargel essen und Karten spielen. Fußball ging so, Spargel war fantastisch und im Kartenspielen habe ich gewonnen.

damit ich mich nicht schneide und das so verhaßte Schälen leichter geht, ist gutes Werkzeug erforderlich / using a good peeler is a must so that I don't cut myself during the hateful peeling

I love asparagus. My daughter hates it and my man bows to the inevitable. Therefore, I try to eat asparagus in restaurants as often as I can or I ignore my family and cook it at home once or twice during the season.

If I do so, I don't care about the price and choose the local asparagus together with a good Serrano or Parma ham.

It's not being served with a sauce hollandaise but with butter only. And white wine.

Today, my mum came to watch football, to eat asparagus and to play cards. Football was ok, the asparagus was fantastic and I won some money in the card games.
