Ich hatte heute meinen letzten (und leider sehr heftigen) Arbeitstag und bin direkt nach der Arbeit in die angenehme Atmosphäre meiner Friseurin geflüchtet. Und noch während meine Haare gepflegt und geschnitten wurden, wußte ich, dass ich mir heute Ohrringe kaufen würde.

Nach dem Friseur eilte ich zum Juwelier "Freund & Bauer" in Dortmund. Ein Haus, welches es schon seit vielen vielen Jahren in Dortmund gibt und wo man schönen und ausgefallenen Schmuck kaufen kann.
.
Als Tschechin habe ich natürlich eine besondere Bindung zum Granat und so war meine Wahl schnell auf die oben abgebildeten Ohrringe gefallen.
.
Und nun sitze ich hier und frage mich die ganze Zeit, wie ich dazu gekommen bin, nach einem passenden Ring zu fragen. Seht selbst: ich konnte nicht widerstehen.

I had my last (and unfortunately ever so annoying) working day today and fled towards the pleasant atmosphere of my hairdresser afterwards. While my hair was being pampered and cut I decided I had to buy myself some earrings today.

I ran to the jewellry shop "Freund & Bauer" in Dortmund right after the hairdressers. A shop that has been in Dortmund for many many years and where one can buy not only beautiful but also fancy jewellry.
.
Being a Czech myself I have of course a special bond with Czech garnets and therefore, the above pictured earrings caught my attention immediately.

And now I'm sat here and cannot stop asking myself how on earth it came to my mind to ask for a matching ring. See for yourself: I could not resist.
