BVB und das Stadion / BVB and the stadium

Haven't we known all the time? The Times has declared the BVB stadium to be no. 1 in the top ten stadium rankings. Tony Evans, you will be in our hearts for a while.

I still had to laugh while I read some of the reader's comments like "bla bla bla Schalke Veltins Arena bla bla" - what the heck are they talking about?

Here's the original comment (a link won't do :-)

1. Signal Iduna Park (well, the name is another story)

Borussia Dortmund’s ground is a classic. Two huge end terraces (and they are terraces, with the use of safe standing) that fling noise down at the playing area with deafening intensity. This place was built for football and for fans to express themselves. Every European Cup final should be held here. The best atmosphere on the Continent on a game-to-game basis.

The last sentence is the simple truth.

Oh and by the way, we will go and see the match between BVB and Real Madrid next week. I'm excited.
