Langes Wochenende / Long Weekend

Ich hatte mir Donnerstag und Freitag Urlaub genommen, einfach nur so. Es tat gut, morgens nicht aufstehen zu müssen (im Gegensatz zu Schminken, was zieh ich an, schnell schnell) und ich hab viel gemacht:

I took Thursday and Friday off from work, just for the fun of it. It felt good to lie in (as opposed to putting on make-up, what am I going to wear, quick quick) and I had time to do the following:

Neue Winterkollektion für den Balkon (wo noch die Sommerblumen ein tristes Bild abgaben). / New winter collection for our balcony (where the summer plants were sadly dying). 

  Schoppel Gradient Indian Summer

Einen neuen Schal passend zu meiner orange-farbenen Winterjacke angeschlagen. / I cast on a new scarf matching my bright orange winter jacket.

Ich habe meine Eltern besucht und mein Vater übergab mir dieses wunderschöne Werk (aus der letzten Landlust). / I visited my parents and my father gave me this beautiful piece of work (from the magazine Landlust).

Außerdem war ich noch mit meiner Freundin Canada Dry frühstücken und ich habe den Einkauf für's Wochenende ausnahmsweise schon am Freitag erledigt (was ich mir natürlich jedes Wochenende vornehme :-)

Apart from all that I went out for breakfast with my friend Canada Dry and I did all the weekend grocery shopping on a Friday (which of course I intend to do every weekend :-)
