Ich arbeite auf einer Baustelle / I am Working on a Construction Site

In der Firma, in der ich arbeite, entstand in den letzten Monaten am Verwaltungsgebäude ein Anbau: jede Etage (drei insgesamt) erhält zwei neue Büros. Das im Erdgeschoss auf der Sonnenseite wird meins sein. Bis ich allerdings auf der Sonnenseite sein werde, vergehen einige Wochen / Monate und zur Zeit ist der Baulärm immens. 

Letzte Woche wurde der Durchbruch gemacht, danach stellten wir aber fest, dass es doch nicht der schlimmste Tag war: zur Zeit wird überall gebohrt und gewerkelt, manchmal so laut, dass wir nicht mehr telefonieren können. 

Heute wurde direkt hinter meinem Rücken gebohrt. 

Ich tröste mich damit, dass ich ab Sonntag auf Geschäftsreise bin und fast unmittelbar im Anschluss Urlaub habe. Allerdings bin ich auch schon wegen der dann bevorstehenden Trauung nervös. 

So sieht's aus.

In the past months, a new part of a building has been constructed in the company where I work: on each floor (three altogether), there are going to be two new offices. The one on the ground floor and on the sunny side will be mine. It will be another couple of weeks before I'll reach the sunny side and at the time being it is very loud. 

Last week they've broken down the wall leading to the new building but immediately after that we discovered that this had not yet been the worst part of the actions. At the moment, the noise is overwhelming, drilling and loud working everywhere, sometimes to the extent that it is impossible to make a phone call. 

Today, the drilling took place directly behind my back. 

It is a nice prospect for me that I will be on a business trip from Sunday on and on holidays almost immediately after that. However, I'm also nervous about the upcoming wedding.
