Der Große Gatsby / The Great Gatsby

Sorry Leo, aber Gatsby kann nur einer sein: Robert Redford. Und Daisy nur Mia Farrow. 

Diesen Film hatte ich mit 16 oder 17 Jahren gesehen und ich weiß noch, dass ich Daisy gehasst und auf dem Weg nach Hause geweint habe. 

Jetzt habe ich ihn mir auf dem iPad geliehen und gestern Abend angesehen. Ein sehr schöner und dramatischer Film, der am besten auf einer Kinoleinwand zur Geltung kommt. Keine Chance Leo, ich werde mir die Neuverfilmung nicht ansehen.

I saw this film when I was 16 or 17 and I remember that I hated Daisy and cried all the way home from the cinema. 

I've downloaded the film on my iPad and looked at it last night. A beautiful and dramatic film best to be seen on a big cinema screen. No chance Leo, I will not see the new version.
