Essen / Food in China

Ich liebe Essen und ich bin kein Gourmet. Ich probiere fast alles aus und ich mag viele Speisen aus verschiedenen Ländern.

Zu meinen Favoriten gehört die chinesische Küche, insbesondere wegen ihrer Esskultur: nämlich alle Speisen in der Mitte des Tisches auf einen runden Drehteller zu stellen, so dass sich jeder am Tisch von allen Tellern bedienen kann. So einfach und so genial. Macht in Deutschland / Europa kein Mensch.

Unnötig zu sagen, dass Nightglow und ich jede Gelegenheit genutzt haben, in China chinesisch zu essen. Mir sind in guter Erinnerung geblieben: das Restaurant an der Uni in Guangzhou, das Restaurant in Hong Kong und das muslimische Restaurant in der Innenstadt von Guangzhou.

Nicht zu vergessen das Essen, was die Haushaltshilfe unserer Gastgeber für uns gekocht hat.

I love food and I am not a foodie. I try almost everything and I like food from many different countries.

One of my favourites is the Chinese cuisine, especially because of its dining culture: namely to put all the dishes on the turntable in the middle of the table so that everbody at the table can eat from each plate. So easy and ingenious. Noone in Germany / Europe does that.

I don't need to point out that Nightglow and I grabbed every chance to eat Chinese food in China. I have good memories of the restaurant at the university of Guangzhou, the restaurant in Hong Kong and the muslim restaurant in the city of Guangzhou.

Not to forget the food that was cooked and served by the cleaning lady of our hosts.

Ich fliege nächste Woche aus beruflichen Gründen nach Peking und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf das Essen!
